    The Ellis County Commissioner’s Court voted in favor of issuing a county-wide burn ban in their meeting held on Tuesday, July 30, 2019. EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, Ellis County is under a burn ban. This includes all unincorporated areas of Ellis County.

    Irrigation Conservation Ordinance Adopted

    City Council adopted a new Landscape and Lawn Irrigation Conservation ordinance at the April 23, 2019 meeting. This ordinance prohibits the use of irrigation systems between 10am - 6pm from June through September. Click here to view the ordinance.
