Police Chaplain Program

Overview

Police Chaplains are citizens from our faith community, trained in crisis response, who come alongside law enforcement personnel, department staff and their families during times of loss, confusion, depression, and/or stressful situations. A Chaplains goal is to restore stability to officers and their families and give them an outlet for stressors they encounter on a daily basis. In addition, Chaplains are also available for callouts to emergency situations in support of the Midlothian community to provide resources in times of crisis.

The three volunteer Chaplains are provided with necessary training and resources in return for hundreds of hours of volunteer service.

  • Larry Atchley - Lead Chaplain
  • Bill Curry - Administrative Chaplain
