Mayor

On behalf of the City Council, staff and residents of Midlothian, welcome to the web site of one of the fastest-growing cities south of the Trinity River.

Midlothian was founded in 1888 and has a rich history that dates back to the early days of the railroad. Although we are growing by leaps and bounds we have worked hard to retain some of the small-town charm that communities in Texas past have offered.

I hope you find this site informative and beneficial to your needs. I appreciate your interest in the City of Midlothian and thank you for visiting our web site.

Applying Successful Business Approach to City Affairs

To borrow a line from an old Joe Walsh tune, I'd say, "I'm just an ordinary average guy"... who has had the good fortune to do some pretty extraordinary things in this life.

In my life, I have managed to earn two degrees from Texas A&M and am a two-time recipient of the Aggie 100 Award (2010 and 2011). I served as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps, spent 14 years working with airlines in the private sector, 28 years of growing Omega Airline Software into a successful international company, and 34 years living life with my lovely wife Tammy, my  three children, and one granddaughter.

As a niche company in a field dominated by large entities, my company, Omega Airline Software, has had to provide a superior product and services at a lower cost to survive for 28 years, earning a market share of 20 percent for the company.

I can put those same processes to work for Midlothian so that we can become and remain the best run small town in Texas  and realize our full potential and promise as a community.
