On behalf of the City Council, staff and residents of Midlothian, welcome to the web site of one of the fastest-growing cities south of the Trinity River.
Midlothian was founded in 1888 and has a rich history that dates back to the early days of the railroad. Although we are growing by leaps and bounds, we have worked hard to retain some of the small-town charm that communities in Texas past have offered.
I hope you find this site informative and beneficial to your needs. I appreciate your interest in the City of Midlothian and thank you for visiting our web site.
Justin Coffman was born and raised in Midlothian. He graduated from Midlothian High School in 1998 and earned his bachelor’s degree in professional studies from Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie in 2009. Justin serves as the Executive Pastor at Harvest Hill Church in Midlothian. He is also the lead community chaplain for Manna House, Midlothian’s community outreach organization.
Justin and his wife Krystal have been married since 2002 and have four children. He was elected to City Council in 2018 and was appointed Mayor Pro Tem for three of his five years on council before being elected Mayor in 2023.
Justin says, “My commitment to Midlothian’s citizens is that I will lean on God’s guidance, lead intentionally, and will passionately serve all of the citizens of Midlothian to the best of my ability.” He vows to show honor and respect to everyone – no matter the situation and hopes that citizens will not hesitate to contact him about their thoughts or concerns about city issues.
